Race Information

The 2022 Uyghur Endurance Challenge will take place on a 4-mile trail course located on a nature reserve in Pennington, New Jersey. Approachable for beginner trail walkers and experienced endurance runners alike, the Challenge will give racers 24 hours to complete as many miles as they can. Distances will be tracked as racers complete each loop, passing through Race HQ. Once participants exit the course, their final tally will be recorded and placed on the leaderboard. Race HQ will serve as the home base for the race throughout the 24 hours, where food, water, and bathrooms will be provided.

Prizes will be awarded to the male and female finishers completing the highest number of miles, as well as the participant that raises the most money for the Uyghur community!

The 2022 Uyghur Endurance Challenge will take place on August 27, 2022 with race start at 9AM EST.

Fundraising Program

We ask all participants to take part in our individual fundraising program in support of the Uyghur community. An online, individualized profile page will be created for each racer where friends and family can donate or pledge per-mile commitments. After the conclusion of the challenge, supporters will be able to see total distances covered and dollars raised. There is no required fundraising amount – every bit helps! As an additional incentive, participants able to raise over $500 in donations will receive a refund of their race registration fee. All donations are tax deductible and will go to the Uyghur NextGen Project, a registered 501(c)(3) organization supporting Uyghur-run development projects internationally.
